Will a wallbed close while lying in it?

No, a wallbed will never close whilst lying in it. The mechanism is built in such a way, that it can be pulled down with the slightest effort, but once it is in a horizontal position, it can only be closed manually (or electrically).

How does the wallbed get attached?

The wallbed gets attached to the wall with 2 metal brackets. This means NO FLOOR MOUNTING.
